Quality and certification
Our plant is certified to FSSC 22000 for food safety and to ISO 9001, and is registered under the EPR rules for plastic waste. We will send the current certificate and its scope statement with your quotation.

| GSM gauge | Weighs a cut sample and gives its substance in grams per square metre, which is how film weight is checked against the approved trial. |

| Tensile testing machine | Pulls a strip of film, or a seal, until it breaks. This is where tensile strength, elongation, seal strength and bond strength are measured. |
| Hot air oven | Holds laminated samples at temperature so the adhesive is fully cured before the bond is tested. |
| Pouch vacuum tester | Holds a pouch under vacuum under water. Bubbles show where a seal is leaking, so a pack is checked before it is filled rather than after. |
| Odour test equipment | Checks the film for any odour that could carry into the packed product. This matters on food packs, where the pack must not taint what is inside it. |
| Film thickness | Checked on every lot against the thickness recorded on your approved trial |
